I'm pretty much indifferent on this game.

 

I never liked Manning. And the Patriots being in the Super Bowl is getting annoying (no offense) as like the 90 Bills.

I'm rooting for the asteroid for now, but if the Bears win early Sunday, I want the Colts to win. A Bears/Colts Super Bowl might lead to all-out warfare here in Muncie. I wouldn't mind seeing one.

 

That would definitely be interesting with so many ball state students being from the region but Colts fans would still out number them pretty heavily.

I think a lot of this game depends on Mannings protection and if the pat DB's get away with holding like they usually do.

I don't think it could be anymore violent than when Ball St made their tournament run into the Sweet 16 with Chandelor Thompson.

Who is the projected winner of this game? I would like to say Indianapolis but I have a feeling New England is the favorite. Not a fan of either team really but I do love Peyton Manning's commercials, they crack me up.

It really is because of the Colts variability-nobody really knows what Manning or the Colts defense is going to do on Sunday. If they're both good to great, the Colts blow the Patriots out. If they're both bad, the Colts will almost certainly lose. If one is good and the other is not (or if both are average), it will be a very, very good game (which is the most likely option).

Man, I'm all about great games and storybook finishes, but I dont want this game to be close. I want the Colts to have a comfortable 14+ point win. Then they can have their classic in the superbowl. I just finally want a team I love to be in a championship.

If the Colts were down 10 going into the 4th I'm not sure I'd make it to the end. I'll be able to watch the game until 6:30 and then may or may not be able to watch any of the rest.

Don't forget Kidd and McCurdy. They were a big part of that team too. They really had a good team that Majerus assembled (even though he left for Utah before that season). I'd really liked to have seen how far they could have gone had they pulled the game out against UNLV in the regional semis. I think they could have at least beaten Loyola Marymount and advanced to the Final Four (Ball State was the only team to play UNLV close the entire tournament).

I recently got into heated discussion with one of my friends over how much I hate the Colts.

 

he was just baffled that i disliked a non-conference, non-divisional rival opponent.

 

I just don't like the Colts. *shrug* I'd love to see Peyton Manning finish his career without a Super Bowl appearance. I don't even know how I can explain where it comes from.
