I'm sure that Mavericks fans can sympathize with you on the insane Dwayne Wade foul call.

That was the second thought that went through my head after I saw it-my first thought was, I can't believe they've already re-instituted the "Jordan rules" with Dwayne Wade! :D

Atleast MJ earned MOST of his fouls. You just breathe of Wade (and let me remind you, Wade is my fave player) and he gets the benefit of the doubt. You don't have to foul Wade, to get a foul call on you.

It's time for the segment 'Everybody laugh at the Knicks'.

The Miami Heat, playing without Shaq and Wade, went on a 27-0 run in the first quarter against the Knicks today. The Knicks held a 3-2 lead and eight minutes later, they found themselves trailing 29-3.

JO has to pay the fan who was out on the court 1686 junior cheeseburger deluxes.

That really doesn't make any sense to me. Haddad tried to file civil charges, and the case got dismissed halfway through the trial because Haddad was lying about just about everything :D.

What's next? Are those two guys who attacked the Royals first base coach going to sue the Royals for beating on them after they entered the field? I never understood why Jermaine was involved in the first place (and believe me, I was very critical of the other two players at the time, especially Stephen Jackson).

Isn't what JO did about the same as what the Royals players did-simply beat on a guy who came on to the court looking for trouble, even after the initial danger was over with?

Kobe's 1 game suspension for tonight's game against the Knicks is complete crap.

Kobe's had 3 or 4 suspensions that were way too light, but after seeing the video, this suspension was absolutely ridiculous.

The Pacers have absolutely had it with the officiating-and they are willing to tell you about it:

What I find interesting about this article is that the four people arguing last night were Carlisle, Foster, Armstrong, and O'Neal (after the game). Those are usually some of the coolest heads on the team, so that makes these comments very interesting to me, as opposed if they had come from somebody like Tinsley, who I would most likely dismiss as sour grapes.

From what I have heard, the game was absolutely ridiculous last night. Carlisle got tossed in the 3rd quarter. The Pacers started making up the deficit in the 4th, and then the crazy fouls started coming. Foster got pulled down, and finally a whistle blew that everybody thought was for the Pacers-and it was somehow on Foster. DA tried to go over and calmly ask the official what happened (like you're supposed to be able and do) and he got T'd-and then Armstrong just went crazy and had to be restrained from going after the referee and he got ejected. Foster also picked up a T. The Nuggets shot 25 free throws in the 4th quarter-25!

That's nuts - especially the fact that two Nuggets players each took more free throws by themselves than the Pacers did as a team. Should be interesting to see how the league handles this.

Go sixers! And by "go" I mean "finish with the worst record in the NBA, win the lottery, and draft Greg Oden"

Nope, that's my goal for the Grizzlies already. Especially if Pao insists on being traded.

Watching Spurs @ Heat on ABC.

Amazing how many empty seats there are on a Sunday afternoon. Dwayne Wade isn't enough of a draw to even fill all the first row seats in the stadium. Truly amazing. Are Miami fans the worst in the world? Sure seems that way.

I think it's because Dwayne Wade lacks leadership.

Signed, the Dirkenator ;)

Actually, there's like 3 hall of famers on the floor right now, maybe 4, and a good portion of the 100 level seats could not doubt be had for face value. Amazing.

I know people criticize the Bulls for selling out to corporate packages and what-not. But at least Chicago finds a way to fill up its stadium on a regular basis.

The whole Dirk choked/the Mavs gave the Heat the NBA title debate is stupid. Everybody knows it was the refs who gave the series to Miami. If Dirk would have played like Wade, and received the same treatment Wade did, Dirk would have shot at least twice as many free throws as he did.

Hmm-Pacers lose the free throw battle 24-9 today even though they went inside all day, but it doesn't matter as the Pacers beat the Clippers 94-80 anyway. This is going to be a potentially interesting case building up here.
