They're worlds better IMHO, but I could do without the chest piping and the funky fonts.

Maybe because I have some thick arms, but I actually prefer cut-offs to sleeves. I don't want the Cubs to go cut-offs, but cut-offs is not a "travesty to baseball and all things holy" that titles belongs to the 2006 World Series Champs.

They're the same uniforms that the Reds have worn most of my lifetime, but with different lettering. From Pete Rose era to Eric Davis. Great idea to go back to them.

I thought the lettering and shadows on the numbers are very sharp. I'm glad they lost the sleevless look, although I'm not against it like most people.

I guarantee they ruin a good thing by having god awfully hideous alternates (like red jerseys with black pants and red shoes or something equally horrific)
