I just want to give Seth mad props for those predictions. The ND blowout wasn't a surprise, so I can't give you too much love, Vance, but Seth was alarmingly prescient.

It's like Nostradumus and Edgar Cayce had a baby.

Kudos, dude.

Jesus, you're obnoxious. THere's gotta be a few posts from last year you could bump up too, cause if there's one thing that will create good conversation it's having a page full of nyah nyahs from the LSU/ND game.

I'm sure we could drudge up some predictions from vance about how LSU was going to beat Florida and Auburn this year.

I did think we could beat Florida, but I was scared as hell of the Auburn game.

I've got one more game to go, since I said this about the entire BCS.

I'll call it. ND/LSU will be the best game of the BCS. Louisville, Oklahoma and OSU will all win in walks.

And Michigan will beat up on USC too.

I had to bump this.

I would later go on to pick USC in the bowl pick 'em.

We do have permission to trash the Irish for being there, however.

Truth.

Still were the only option, though, unless we think that a WV team that gave up 35 points to Georgia Tech deserved it over them.

They also scored 38, and they beat Rutgers during the season.

I think it means the two-team limit needs to be trashed.

I agree (which no one seems to notice around here, since I've said it like 7 times).

Only to a certain extent and in special cases like this years Wisconsin team.

I agree that certain stipulations should be placed on it. The third team would need to be ranked in the top eight in BCS standings and not taken before any other eligible team that is ranked higher or something like that.

JESUS CHRIST do I love it though.

Only a few things in life come close to it...trashing the Colts, the Packers, and Michigan.

Sadly, I don't enjoy my own teams victories as much as I like seeing these teams lose.

At least you admit it which is more than most of your ilk can say

Hey man, you can only enjoy watching your team beat up lesser competition so much.

But seeing an enemy lose a heartbreaker? Well thats just beautiful.

Now if (when) the Buckeyes win the National Championship, its certainly gonna feel better than my scheudenfreude, and the same with DA BEARS.

Actually if the Buckeyes lose, then we'll have had the immensely enjoyable trifecta of Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State losses in BCS bowl games.

As opposed to USC winning, which is good?

I'm neither here nor there when it comes to USC. PSU rarely plays them, so I really don't care about them.

If only the same applied to ND with fans of teams that never play them...

Theres plenty other reason to hate ND without playing them.

There are probably plenty of reasons to hate a lot of teams without playing them. O$U, F$U, Miami and Michigan all constantly have players getting in trouble with the law who then receive minimal, if any, punishment. There are probably more of those that I'm not thinking of. ND's only crime is accepting what is given to them (NBC, bowl berths, accolades).

And obnoxious fans. (and I'm not including you in this, ndistops, you're quite a good poster and fan. But man there are some that I'm in constant contact with)
