Miami/GT is Saturday afternoon at 3:30 on ABC. A win for Georgia Tech puts them in a great position to play for the ACC title (Tech finishes with NC State, UNC, and Duke).

So long as Reggie Ball remembers Calvin Johnson is on his team and throws him the ball. A buddy and me were watching the game last night and screaming for Ball to throw to Johnson and he almost never did.

Mizzou #20 in the new BCS. Take that pollsters.

ND falls to #9, with Texas jumping them, not altogether surprising considering they played a ranked team, although UCLA wasn't exactly a creampuff.

Michigan jumps over USC for #2 in the BCS standings by .002 points

Michigan .945

USC .943

I am not completely BCS literate so I was looking at the BCS poll and is Mchigan and USC tied for number 1 in the computer rankings?

NIU against Iowa should be an interesting game. There is a rumor going around that Nicholson could be the starter of that game based on how well he performed in the 2nd half against Temple. If Nicholson starts, it will be a very solid game and NIU could be in contention to spring an upset. If Horvath starts, well good win Iowa.

SIU has a must-win game against Missouri State this weekend. I'm not really worried about the Bears seeing how they lost to Indiana State yesterday. Prior to ISU's win yesterday, they went something like 25 I-AA games in a row without winning a game. That just goes to show you how bad Missouri State is, I guess. Hopefully we can get our backup some snaps as well in this game. With our showdown against Youngstown State the following week, we need to do everything we can to be ready for that game.

Basically, yes-they are not necessarily #1 in any individual poll, but they are completely tied right now overall in the computers.

Actually, USC is #1 in 3 of the computer polls, Michigan is #1 in 2 of them, and OSU is #1 in the remaining one.

I think they were trying to determine if it was a joke or just another ignorant statement.

I'm so confused right now with where this thread is going.

I was just trying to be funny. I do this stuff all the time.

Point taken. In the last thread I saw that you said you hated Missouri, is there a reason behind iti or just a random comment? I'm just kinda curious.

Crap. Just heard on ESPN that UNC's John Bunting is stepping down at the end of the season. Figured this would happen, but now that it's official, UT's offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe may be one of, if not the top, candidate. It's also probably one of the few jobs he may leave Tennessee to take.

Forgive me for being ignorant, but what exactly is the joke here?

Well, Gameday is gonna go to Columbia, South Carolina this week for some reason for Tennessee at South Carolina. Not sure if I understand why they're going there. South Carolina has a tendency to choke away big night games at home over the last several years. Plus they're unranked. I just wonder if maybe they would have come to Mizzou if Peterson were playing and/or we had beaten aTm.
