My second post ever and i can't even be original...

well, he made a nice defensive play if that helps. maybe the cubs can get him back to replace ramirez. it would be good to see some hustle from the 3b position.

*Announcement*

Christ Carpenter had zero counts where he threw more than two balls to a batter.

he was pitching against the tigers lineup, which has decided it would be fun to be horrible

My keys to tonight's game...

Bonderman's ability to get ahead in the count, espec. a 1st pitch strike. IMO, he has one of the best sliders in the game that not only is unhittable to RH'ed but dives down and in to Lh'ers, his ability to go to it will be similar as Carpenter's curve in the dirt w/2 strikes.

Suppan will need to locate as well as he has this post-season as well as maintain the sharp movement on his 2 seamer as well as his curve.

Unless the Tigers start working the count and stop being so aggressive, they are going to be in trouble tonight. Exactly the kind of lineup Suppan does well against.

I'm thinking pitcher's duel tonight.
