Wow, that's a bad break for Saban and the 'Fins.

No it isn't. It's a stupid play. They should've been able to get that challenge on the field much quicker than they did.

This is true. I really don't know what held up the challenge so long. It was obvious from the first replay that Miller's foot was out of bounds before he was in the endzone.

Steelers taking control of this one.

And even then, Pitt still has the ball at the 1 yard line, although I was bummed because it was another wasted opportunity to get Parker 6 points.

I miss Marty Booker, he was one of my favorites.

I like Adewale Ogunleye better

I actually do too, but I still was a big Booker fan for some reason.

So the only question from tonight is:

How does a decently constructed defense let Charlie Batch put 21 points up on them?

Defense played very poor tonight. Charlie Batch didn't look too bad either. Probably a combination of Charlie Batch playing better than expected and the Dolphins D playing much worse than expected. The Steelers also have quite a few good players around Batch.

Culpepper was horrible last night. He didn't show me much at all.

Vance, what did I tell you? ;)

The boys in black certainly made it a bit more difficult than they had too. The Steelers start and end with their Defense. That's how Charlie Batch is 3-0 as a starter in the last two seasons, although I thought he played very well last night. Both touchdown passes (excluding Miller's) were really nice throws.

He started off ok. He certainly went downhill late.

Dante always does that. I used to be a big time Viking fan for many years and I never saw why everyone thought he was so good. If you give any QB the weapons he had in Minny they would have been studs too. McNabb has Owens for 1 year and he's in the Super Bowl. As I've always thought...he is a poor reader of defenses.

You can count on Daunte to make one or two bonehead throws per game. Against a defense like Pittsburgh's, you just can't do that. Miami does not have the offense to overcome mistakes like that.

Watched the first half, a couple of decent passes from Culpepper and the Dolphins could have gone into half-time tied.

Didn't see the 2nd half, did Culpeppr blow some other scoring opprotunities?

Posted
Not that he necessarily blew direct scoring chances as much as him throwing two CRIPPLING interceptions in their own territory late in the game, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

Things are already getting bad in Oakland. Moss says it's not his team; he just plays there. Joey Porter apparently parked in Al Davis' spot. Fun times there.

Where did you hear this? And BTW, it's Jerry Porter.

Here

For anyone still confused about whether WR Jerry Porter has improved his dark attitude around Raiders' headquarters, take note: The disgruntled former starter parked his vehicle in owner Al Davis' personal parking space on Wednesday, the space that's closest to the front door of the team facility. Nice statement
