Well, the jersey color will certainly make less of a difference since the Cowboys will be utilizing the air-cooled shoulder pads being provided by the company Bates now works for - The Williams Sports Group, featuring the Temperature Management System out of Jacksonville. The TMS significantly cools down the player while on the sideline, and does so without creating more moisture, as does those air-conditioned fan systems.

Smith was my first round pick in one of my fantasy teams. Roethlisberger is my starting quarterback for the same team. Not a good start when two of your primary offensive weapons miss the very first game of the season. :(

 

Interestingly, both starting tight ends for the Colts-Giants matchup (Shockey for the Giants and Clark for the Colts) have missed some practice time this week and are both on their teams' injury reports. Both are listed as probable (although Clark was questionable until a day ago).

Both. The Lions are actually looking pretty good, but there are 2 blocked FG's, otherwise Seattle would be up by more than a TD at the half.

Wow Trent Green just got absolutely destroyed. He was scrambling and was already sliding when the defensive player just hit the crap out of him. I cannot believe that's not a penalty. Hopefully Green is okay.
