too bad we can't see our #7 hitter as the #2 hitter.

Too bad our #2 hitter can't accidentally walk in front of a speeding cement mixer after the game.

Neifi's the equivalent of a pair of cheap sun glasses.

I disagree.

Cheap sunglasses are useful.

Mabry with yet another K. He was striking out on an average of once every 3.5 AB's or so before today's game. That'll just help that stat out.

But power hitters like Mabry tend to strike out frequently. Adam Dunn strikes out a lot, too, but his walks and homeruns more than make up for the whiffs.

I think you need to average a little better than one home run every 35 at bats during the course of your major league career to be considered a power hitter.

comparing Mabry to Adam Dunn is a pretty bad comparison.

Isnt Mabrys best HR season like 17 HRs?

CUBS are 7-5 when their pitcher gets a hit.... 8-14 when he doesn't

Go CUBS !!

does this stat count the hit that Ohman had yesterday, or just Starting Pitchers?

Both are left-handed. Both can play the outfield and first base. What's the difference?

Mabry has one homerun at this point, Dunn has upwardsof 13.

C'mon.
