Going back to the last series- how many consecutive at-bats has Roberts reached base? When did he all of sudden learn how to hit?

Seeing as we're about as likely to contend as the royals i'd really like to see guzman get more chances. I know he uses too many pitches but i really like this guy and think eventually he'll make it just needs time.

I'm sure you've been asked this before but what are you doing in London?

Mabry with yet another K. He was striking out on an average of once every 3.5 AB's or so before today's game. That'll just help that stat out.

Someone' got to replace Jones as the K-machine.

But power hitters like Mabry tend to strike out frequently. Adam Dunn strikes out a lot, too, but his walks and homeruns more than make up for the whiffs.

comparing Mabry to Adam Dunn is a pretty bad comparison.

Both are left-handed. Both can play the outfield and first base. What's the difference?

too bad we can't see our #7 hitter as the #2 hitter.

Too bad our #2 hitter can't accidentally walk in front of a speeding cement mixer after the game.

Neifi's the equivalent of a pair of cheap sun glasses.
