Because that's how the current playing makes me feel.

 

It's a relatively recent skit on SNL I think called "Debbie Downer." One of the few things still remotely funny on that show. Basically a woman who says horribly depressing things in response to whatever is said, no matter how positive, and ends up driving everyone around her to misery, or worse.

 

Kind of like my beloved Cubs.
