If Jacque Jones were to trip on his shoelaces, I would not cry.

Why not? They'd just replace him with crap.

But the crap would be a different shape of brown.

That Honda lawnmower commercial is the most laughably bad thing I've seen in a long time. I laugh every time.

I can't stand the Jimmy Fallon Pepsi commercial. I might be a bit biased because I don't think I've seen Jimmy Fallon do anything remotely funny ever.

Maybe because you don't have a sense of humor? Just kiddding.

He's ok. I smirk ONCE in awhile for Fallon.

Geez, 8-0 to the Pirates? I'm not as upset about the shutout as I am about giving up 8 freakin runs to the Pirates.

From a Cub loss straight into a bad (dead) Jack Ritter sitcom...does it get any better than that?

I wish we could go back to the last 2 years when everyone complained about the Cubs hitting too many homers and not playing enough "smallball". This offense has no chance against lefties at all, I'm pretty sure even Glendon Rusch would shut this offense out right now. Pathetic.

Yeah, a lot of Cubs fans were drinking Joe Morgan's koolaid back then.

Our best hitter in 2004 wanted to come back in 2005, and would have given us a hometown discount, but Hendry wanted to get the bad seeds out of the clubhouse.

Hahhaah, I noticed that...

Again, and I think I'm going to say this a lot this season...

At least I started Zach Duke. Thats a little consolation. (actually a lot of consolation, 9 shut out innings? Sweet.)

How about, to help Fred out, we allow the Pierre groundout to second be shortened to a single letter. I propose that from now on, ehen Fred types "Q", it's a Pierre groundout to second.

Why must I see terrible games in person?

Plus it was cooler than was expected. The wind coming from the NE instead of the predicted NW certainly didn't help and the windchill couldn't have hit 60.
