This should be an interesting game with a LHP on the mound. Lee's only backups are LH (Walker, Mabry). I'm sure Jones will be in the lineup too, so that's 2 LH hitters that are gonna have to play against Mulder. Good thing Mulder sucks though. Cubs will score. Bad matchup for Williams, though. Cards will take walks, he will issue them. He has to keep the lesser players in the lineup off base via BB, and keep Edmonds struggling. Walks to non-Pujols, Rolen, Jedmonds hitters are a recipe for disaster.

Never felt so bad after a great win last night. :(

Let's just hope that DLEE comes out of this alright. I was just telling my friend last night that I love the makeup of this team. Let me do a shout out to the big man upstairs to heal DLEE fast!

My flight leaves tomorrow at 5:55 AM for St. Louis. 9I have a two-hour stop in Houston along the way.) I'll arrive at my in-laws around 11:30 and get ready to head to the game.

I'll be at all three of these, so I hope the Cubs can find a way to keep winning.

Williams had a decent start against the Cardinals in St. Louis last year, so let's hope he can do it again. I'm going to have fun shouting at Ponson on Saturday from the Party Room.

Save your voice....his neck fat blocks his ear from hearing anything further than 2 feet away

So much for Dusty's praise about our Bench being so versital(sp). I guess no one expected DLee to get hurt

Go Cubs! Win this series.

I think we might win this series. The team will rally around with DLEE being hurt and may take this series. We aren't seeing Carpenter so you never know....

Dusty will give Neifi a start against the lefty. I'll probably be Walker at 1B, Neifi at 2B and Hairston in RF.

Haha...good one

It'll be intersting to see if DLEE is out for a period of time if the Cubs try to get Choi from Boston? If I remember right didn't Choi have a good glove?

Haha...good one

It'll be intersting to see if DLEE is out for a period of time if the Cubs try to get Choi from Boston? If I remember right didn't Choi have a good glove?

No, not really. He projected to be a pretty good defender in the minors, but never really developed that part of his game.

BP has him slightly above average for his career, so does PMR(2005 season).

Yeah, I figured he was right around average. But I figured he was slightly below rather than above.

Hey, TT, The Farns was lights out ystdy vs. the Blue Jays in the NYFY 3-1 win. He worked 2/3 of the 8th and was hitting 97 on the scoreboard Juggs.

He didn't look quite as Superman-like in pinstripes though.....

I can't wait for Farnsworth to blow a couple games. First off, it will probably lead SportsCenter because it's the Yankees. Second, the New York media will be all over him. Third, I can't wait for Steinbrenner to rip into him. It's only a matter of time, you know it's going to happen.

why would you want this? if you say it's because farnsworth is "gutless," well, i don't know what i'll do.
