I'm going to guess that Lee has a slight sprain and should be ready on Friday. I'm going to guess that Eyre has a groin strain and will go on the DL.

I didn't see it. Wishful thinking or honest opinion?

A little bit of both. Lee really wanted to stay in the game. It took several minutes before they made the decision to pull him. If it was real bad, he would have been out of the game right away and headed for X-rays.

Eyre, on the other hand, had some serious discomfort going on. I'm guessing groin strain, but it could be his back.

Cubbies75 or Transmorgified Tiger, Big 12 (aka Campus Bar and Grill) is a terrible place to go if you want to watch Cubs baseball. This sounds like an extremely costly game. This is terrible. I would happily give up my right arm for Lee. For anyone watching, did Lee screw up his wrist badly?

I assure you Lee wouldn't want mine.

Vin Scully said it was his knee. (landing on it - maybe a bruised knee or something).

Thanks. I'm going to have to look for a replay. It's obviously really hard to make a judgement just by listening to the radio.

I don't Lee is headed to the DL, but I do worry that he may have nagging discomfort for months because of this injury.

Dempster is my favorite Canadian. . . . followed closely by Anne Murray.

Where's Pam Anderson on that list?

So he'll hit .305 instead of .330 :)

Eyre: knee contusion: day to day

Lee: sprain of right wrist: flying back to chicago tomorrow
