Well, at least the Cubs took 2 out of 3 aganist the Pirates. Granted, I only caught a little bit of it on the Radio, but it was good.

On to LA!

FYI, for those people in So Cal the game should be on Fox Sports Prime (Channel 411 for Dish Network people).

And Raisin, I LOVE West Coast trips too! And I am thankful the rain came this weekend and not this early week!

fred, a request.

how does maddux pitch at LA? i'm guessing he's got good career numbers there.

I've checked a couple of websites, but they weren't able to give me that particular split. I'll keep looking, tho.

Maddux has started 14 games at Dodger Stadium:

5-5, 96.1 IP, 94 H, 39 R, 36 ER, 47/28, 8 HR, 3.36 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, .258 BAA, 2 CGs and a SO.

Yahoo is a really good place to find that stuff. Just go to a player's page, then click on Split Stats, then on the year you'd like to view... or click on Since 1987 to view the player's career (well, most of his career).

Yeah, that'd what I did for those Maddux stats.

I would like the Cubs to put this one away in the first three innings. The game won't start until 10 here (stupid Indiana, staying with New York instead of Chicago) and I don't do well on less than seven hours of sleep.

Ah well, there's always music appreciation to sleep through.

As an east coaster I just want to echo the sentiments of how much west coast games suck. I have to be up at 6:30 on Tuesday morning, so listening to the end is not happening (that is, if I want to stay awake in my classes).

It’s going to be hard to match last years sweep out here. Dodger Stadium was filled with loud Cubs fans. I’ll be at this game and on Wednesday. Go Cubs!

Where are you going to be sitting on Wednesday?

That goes for everyone going to Dodger Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Section 44BL Row 7 Seats one of 5-6 Monday

Section 135LG Row V Seats one of 5-8 on Wednesday

i love west coast games

no class to make me miss them

I used to say the same in college. Get work done by 10 or 11, watch Cubs game (drink), go to bed, wake up for 11 am class. Can't say I like going to bed by the 3rd inning and waking up the next day to see a boxscore...

Hey, what a coincidence. That's my plan for tomorrow and Wednesday nights (Tuesday I have to work), but I'll have to get my HW done by 7 (West Coast time).

I am totally pumped to be going to all three games (my first at Dodger Stadium - should be exciting). A friend of mine got the tickets, so I don't know exactly where, but I think I'm sitting in the bleachers, near the visitor's bullpen all three games ($8 tickets are nice). If anyone else is gonna be there, I'll be in a Prior Jersey (cause it's the only jersey I've got).

SO excited.

Not to throw this way off-topic or anything, but you're from Los Angeles and you're a North Carolina fan?

Please tell me you lived in North Carolina sometime.

For me more like, get out of class at 5, frantically do HW from 5-6, watch Bulls game from 6-8:30, frantically do more HW from 8:30-9:00, watch Cubs game (drink), then try to do HW buzzed from 12-2, wake up at 8 on six hours sleep.
