You don't spend a top 3 pick on the potential to be Keith Van Horn.

Unless you're the Philadelphia 76ers.

If we draft Morrison I will disavow this team. There's no question in my mind that he is not going to be a great pro, and probably not even a very good one.
You've been listening to Skip Bayless? haven't you? He said the same thing about Morrison.

I would never agree with Skip unless I felt very strongly about something, and I feel very strongly that Morrison's game won't translate well to the NBA.

(I did not know that Skip said that)

Bulls choke. Again. This is going to be a "who wants it least" race for the 8th seed.

What's wrong with Morrison's game? I think he will do fine. He won't be a star, but I can see him having a long career and getting 12-15 a game pretty consistently.

LOL. I agree. I wouldn't pick him. I just don't think he's gonna be horrible.

Bulls up 8 at the half.

New update at http://www.nbadraft.net where the writers have taken crack have the Bulls at number two taking Adam Morrison and Tyrus Thomas going one overall.

Ryan Hollins cracking the second round!!

I can't tell you how much I hate that mock.

Bulls taking Morrison 2nd wouldn't be terrible, but O'Bryant (should stay another year) going 10th to the rockets and McRoberts being a lottery pick? No Joachim Noah?

They have Joakim going 14th. But yeah, just say no to Morrison, Paxson.

The ESPN mock draft still has the Bulls taking Aldridge with their first pick, then either McRoberts, Brewer or Roy with their 2nd pick. The only scenario I've hit that doesn't have them picking Aldridge is if Minnesota lotteries up to the #1 pick. Morrison and Thomas are the other top 3 in most scenarios.

NBADraft.net says Morrison at No. 2 and Mardy Collins at No. 11. I think not.

Good to see the Bulls steal one on a bad shooting night for Gordon. Now we need to beat the Celts and hope Philly loses their next one to the Knicks (they almost did last night).

Yes it would be terrible. The last thing this team needs is a SF. They need big men and a bigger, well defending, SG.

Figured this deserved its own thread with the tournament over and the draft fast approaching.

I'm glad Texas got eliminated early. Had they gone to the title game with Aldridge just dominating people, other teams would be strongly considering him more so than they are at number one (contingent on the Bulls not getting that pick). Now they have Thomas and Noah to mull over.

I trust Pax to make the right move if they have number and have their choice from the great big men in this draft.

Hey Derwood, how's Big Baby now? ;)

Ahhhahahaha the Knicks are so bad. I only wish this was the draft of LeBron, Melo, Wade, Bosh, ect. I like Hinrich, but I was so pumped up in that draft because I thought for sure Dwyane Wade was coming to Chicago. When the Heat picked him, I was pretty disappointed.

Noah is legitimately the only college basketball player in the country that I am sure will excel on the next level, so naturally he is going to stay in school rather than go to the Bulls at No. 1 :x

I dont get the Noah love, he's about 20 pounds short of doing anything in the league.

I don't think that'll be much of a problem (gaining the 20 pounds).

Yeah, I didnt think Chandler would have any problem either, but when he turns sideways, he dissapears.

Right now, Noah's hands and post moves are better than Tyson's. I think Noah will make an impact his rookie year. His skill set remind me a lot of Garnett. Similiar size, too.

If we end up with any two of the following:

Tyrus Thomas

Joakim Noah

Brandon Roy

Randy Foye

I'll be happy. O'Bryant is an interesting player, but not worth a Top 3 pick. Aldridge is soft, which drives me nuts. Morrison will be productive, but he won't be an impact player. Gay is sooooooooo lazy.

Of course, with the Bulls' luck, only Roy and Foye will be in the draft. Guh.
