Heard on ESPN today that Randolph Morris's suspension has been reduced and he will be available starting Jan. 10. Good news for Kentucky...

 

Very good news. I'm glad that he's been practicing this whole time. We (UK, but I'll be a student there next fall, so :P) desparately needs someone who can at least defend inside and catch the ball.

 

 

It's great news for all of us Cat fans and Alumni!

 

Ironically, the thing that convinced the panel to shorten the suspension was the now-infamous fax he sent to Tubby Smith t start this whole fiasco.

 

I think it may have been the "Beer of the Month" membership and the Heavenly Ham that Tubby sent Myles. :P

It seems to me that every time Rondo wants to score, he scores. I don't think he should try and score 30 a game or anything, but I do think he is too passive at times.

He doesn't have the outside shot yet, many teams are playing man to man and if Rondo becmae more of a scorer they could easily zone up and stop him, especially as streaky as Sparks is.

 

He's a great transition scorer, but not as good in the half court game. I'm just glad Sims doesn't have to be the low post scorer anymore.

I have yet to see Texas look good this season. I wonder if the Big XII will have much more than 4 tourney-worthy teams this year.

the braggin rights game looks to be a bore on paper, but it seems to never work out that way. for a few years the underdog always won. this is probably the worst mizzou team i can recall.

I think it's more of a "overrated teams exposed" Saturday. Not to take anything away from UT or UK, but Louisville and especially Texas are/were very overrated. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Texas finish the season outside of the top 20.

I agree. I really don't see how UK or UL were ranked in the top 10 to start the season.

NIU loses to UIC on a last second tip-in, 55-54...was a back and forth game the whole game. Biggest lead in the game was only 5 I believe. Tough loss for NIU as they were only a second away from being 5-1. Kansas St. is next for NIU on Tuesday.

 

Illinois has Coppin St. tomorrow...with Louisville and Texas' losses today, they could be close to the top 5 in the polls when they come out on Monday.

UCLA beat Michigan 68-61, even though a certain NSBB poster IMed me last night while I was away to inform me that UCLA would lose. :P

 

UCLA is now 8-1, their only loss was by 8 points to #5 Memphis.
