I see widespread panic and hysteria have reached the board.

why does someone always come and complain about the guys (and gals) here being upset after a devasting loss? Its just flat-out annoying. When you are barely .500, you cant lose these types of games.

Does Ronny C get to that ball?
No. He doesn't have the experience.

you can't be serious. neifi took a horrible line to that ball. at the very least that should have been knocked down.

way to bring in dempster when it was too late, dusty. :x

Look, I know we're all pissed off, but think about it a little. how would experience help you get to a baseball? Oh wait, it doesn't. But what moron would think it does? Dusty Baker.

He's not serious. He's making fun of Dusty's disdain for young players.

Anyways, we haven't lost anything yet, folks. And it's ONE game. RELAX...

We probably will lose it. But the season is nowhere near over...nor would we be a lot better off if we win it.

Neifi was just unlucky.

No, it's not over, but watch us lose b/c we can't field the ball is frustrating.

btw, i want to punch casey for steamrolling barrett after burnitz passed up the chance on valentine.

Great, they scored some more runs.

I'm so freaking sick of this team. If they're gonna lose, please lose 10 straight so Baker gets tossed. I'm sorry, but the turning point of this game is bringing in Novoa for the second straight inning.

Well, as much as I badmouth Neifi, I think his coming in to talk to Novoa after the blown call in the 8th was integral to us not losing the lead in that inning (yes, providing more false hope). I think that brought Novoa back in the game and I give Neifi partial credit on the Dunn K.

don't worry, scott williamson is almost back and he can get out lefties and righties and he can go short and long and he can get a groundball or strikeout whenever he needs them and he'll knock down all balls hit back up the middle.

i'm vomitting in my own mouth.

This is the 2nd time someone has advanced to 2nd on the throw. Are these legitimate shots at gunning someone out at the plate, or just bad baseball? I'm on gameday and can't tell.

Because its just one game and I refuse to act like the season is over. We knew our bullpen was bad before the game started the only difference today (and yesterday) is that the starter left early.

It isn't just one game. a win here would have sent us into St Louis on a serious role. Now we split with crappy ass Cinncy, you know the same team the Astros just swept in Cinn or one of the teams that beat us out of the playoffs last year in the same type situations. The fact remains this will continue to happen with the clown we have managing our team and bullpen.

For all of Dusty's refusal to play young position players, he sure rides the young bullpen guys way past they are done.
