How spectacular was that catch for those that can't see it? Better then Sosa against Pittsburgh last year?

Very good catch. Look for it as #1 on the web gem tonight. A little looper to right center that Hairston came in full speed on and laid full out to catch.

I dont want Cubs to score. I want to see Dempster get the save in a 1-run situation in a hitter's park.

Does Novoa stay in for the 8th? Or do we risk a flame out by somebody else?

nice job offense way to put the pressure back on them. Bring in Dempster now.

Reminded me of the catch Corey made in Milwaukee to start the DP...but without the DP.

Wow.... just wow...

Just when things were looking really bad, and NSBB was on the verge of a full-scale implosion, JHJR and Novoa saved the day.

*Whew* Oh my lord.

It was in the same vain considering the circumstances. Of course, Sammy was always diving around the field so I'm not sure how much of that was necessary in his case but JHJ was digging to reach the ball then lunged and caught it before it hit the ground. Beautiful!

I want them to have a 20 run lead, but that's just me.

Agreed. Give me 25 runs in the top of the 9th.

Novoa & Hairston made the doubters sound foolish!

I absolutely loved how he popped up immediately and showed a ton of emotion. It was awesome to see!
