  1. Dang, Gallagher got rocked. Hopefully he'll do better his next start.
  2. 3-0 Rocks. Dang, I hope we score runs this game. I'm surprised the Cubbies havent hit any homers in Coors.
  3. Give hill time in AAA. Lets see what he does.
  4. This is my last post to you dude. You're acting unreasonable. I'm not Corey bashing, I'm giving props to Hairston for his effort. If I was batting .230, I'd do whatever it takes to somehow get to first safe. If it meant sliding, I'd do it.
  5. You say you're tired of the threads, but you keep contributing to them, and rediculing the posters who are expressing their frustrations. I haven't seen that many as of late. Many people were pulling for Corey fresh out of AAA. I was one of them.
  6. Showing effort, and having a desire to badly be safe at first base is classic? Why?
  7. Brenly's fuming. He didnt say a word after Nomar striked out.
  8. hahahaha Cubs strand another runner on third base! Holy god they're terrible. First and third with 0 outs. Aram grounds into fielders choice. Nomar strikes out. Burnitz........
  9. Well, even if the Cubs DP with guys on first and third, the run scores.
  10. Good Job Neifi. Another leadoff man on.
  11. Sorry abuck, but you're missing the point on many threads about Corey. He isn't doing ANYTHING to help the team. Todd Walker is getting hits and homers. His average/obp is good. One error is okay. Lawton isn't doing a whole lot, but he isn't making the same mistakes overy and over again. He just isn't hitting the ball particularly well. Hes in a slump. He has gotten some base hits in the past week with a double I think. Neifi has better stats then Corey. He also has a gold glove. Yes hes blowing it, but he's gotten a couple RBI's the past week, with some hits. Rusch just moved to the rotation, and on his second start in Coors, its tough. He did pitch well as the game got deeper. Corey's making the same mistakes over and over again. I don't know why his supporters don't see it. His mental gaffes, his lack of offense, is getting worse as the season rolls on. He's decaying.
  12. Fundamentals are more key, then gold gloves imo. Teach them, and place importance on them.
  13. If Corey had a SINGLE Rbi, in the past 3-4 games, half the people woulden't be complaining. I know I woulden't If Corey did anything to advance the runners with anything other then a groundout, I'd be happy. If he kept the rally going, I'd be happy. He isn't doing the above, which is why he gets flack.
