I like hearing from the talking heads that the Bears are Super Bowl contenders

They certainly are. Gotta win the division though.  Otherwise 3 road games

Ben Solak is fantastic.

When you add his velocity to his lightening quick release and quick footwork, it makes it that much harder for defenders to react and jump your throws. Cutler had a cannon too but a long windup that was easier to read b telegraphing his throws. It’s basic physics. This is a news flash to people who think that strong arms mean distance.

If there were any Caleb Williams doubters left, these last two games have changed their minds

The latest is ADOT and Tight window throws. A noodle armed quarterback with a long windup and slower feet will have more contested, tight window throws because it’s easier to jump routes before the ball is thrown and it stays in the air longer. Caleb is on the opposite end of the spectrum to an extreme degree.

It reminds me of the PCA sucks truthers who told us he’s bad because of errors and stat padding against Rockies pitching. After he didn’t fall off in the second half the new angle was innings pitched.

Seriously?  horsefeathers the NFL, Caleb wearing something to lessen the chances of injury and he gets a dress code fine?  Screw those motherf'ers, they've a superficial concern for players safety, this only confirms it.

Wright is obviously playing fantastic, but Thuney was thought of as the best offensive linemen in the league last year. He’s a stud and has done everything the Bears have asked him to do including getting out on the field goal unit to improve that line.

I’m still so curious what that Thuney play was *supposed* to look like, because as it appeared in the game, it was just an obviously illegal play, and surely Ben and company knows that, so how is it supposed to go?

From Thuney’s comments postgame, I don’t think Ben knew that play was illegal

It’s one thing to observe/call a game and not know it’s illegal, it’s another to design a play and not know it’s illegal. (The rule in question is that it’s illegal for a offensive lineman to take a forward hand off, though apparently linemen CAN accept a backwards hand off or a toss, which is weird)

I mean, if he didn’t know and didn’t check so what. His abilities as an offensive mind aren’t in question, regardless of whether he screwed up on that play design.

Might as well get Nashon Wright back also since he’s getting almost no snaps with the Jets. He’s played in two games and has one tackle.

Astonishing for a team to be 0-6 and be like "yeah, we're not ready to be moving players"

I'm like... medium on Nahshon Wright. I mean, if we need a body we need a body, but the market definitely decided what it wanted to say on him: he's just not that good. Very nice and fun year for him last year though.

Now Kevin Byard was a guy that i wish we held onto given depth at Safety, and he was pretty cheap.

You’re not going to get a better player like Sauce Gardner without giving up a ton

, This is basically a fantastic marketing scheme. I guarantee the cleat company is more than covering the cost of the fine.

Excellent point, nevertheless, I believe the NFL, has, at most, a passing concern for the safety of the players.

Khalil Mack: There is expected to be interest in Mack from teams such as the Chicago Bears, but the Los Angeles Chargers have given no indication that they are willing to make any trades at this time. The Chargers (0-6) insist they are trying to win games, but that doesn't mean they're not going to get calls on Mack in the coming weeks.

The hell? Do you know you're 0-6?

The CEO came out and said he would cover Caleb's fines for wearing the cleats without covering the logo.

With 1 game to play in Week 7 here is where Caleb ranks amongst QBs who have thrown at least 100 passes this year:

QBR: 1st
QB Rating: 6th
Completion %: 2nd
YPA: 4th
INTs: 2nd
Sacks: 13th
