It's crazy that we are now at the point in our Bears fandom that we expect points on every drive. What an amazing transformation.

It looked to me like he got hit right on the knee just like Swift. Difference is Swift was able to come back.

That’s what I thought too, but some internet doctors think it might have given out before that

Yeah, well taking my side doesn't always work out so well. I recently called the Raptors the Hornets in the Bulls thread.

Non-contact must be Cole telling them he thought it went out before the hit if this report is accurate because there certainly was contact

I still just can’t believe what’s going on with Jaylon. It’s one thing to be getting older and to lose a step after a pretty serious injury, but it looks like he just doesn’t care and I just don’t understand that.

Being really slow gives such an appearance.

It's also stunning how many NFL caliber players (and not just on the Bears) are exceptionally bad at tackling or taking angles on ball carriers

I mean they tackled him, but they didn't hit his knee, which is where he was grabbing.

Poles better be scouring the CB market.  Jaylon Johnson isn't just bad, he's playing extremely low effort.

Thinking, at the very least, a hyper extended knee, hopefully, without the accompanying tears.

It was a little hard to tell, but I still thought he got his knee hit. It just wasn’t one of the typical ACLs where you see it get hit from the side.

It would really suck losing Kmet. He’s a Swiss knife type TE. Roush needs to step up big time.

I think just about all of JJ’s issues stem from him losing speed. He’s lost 2, 3 steps. When you can’t move you are going to look terrible. Honestly that hold he committed was probably his best play. He was toasted and the ball was coming his way. That could have been a long TD. He saved it.

Think he's improving, made a good block on Swift' TD, given Ben had a big hand in the drafting of Loveland.  I'll trust there's something there and not immediately dismiss Roush.

It looked to my like things went poorly a second before contact, when he braced himself. There was contact after but he was hurt before

Re: Johnson. Such a low bar we are at with him, but you're right.

Yeah I’m not sure it’s an effort thing with Jaylon, maybe it is, but if it is it’s a product of demoralization with his body not being able to do what it once was. It sucks man, he’s only 28 years old but he has two major injuries that can affect your speed and sometimes…it just goes. He doesn’t look like he belongs out there.

really sucks for Kmet and I hope that it isn’t season ending for him. He’s been an ultimate team player with Loveland taking the spotlight from him.

mini bye couldn’t come any sooner.

Also the Green Bay sucks chant is a terrible look during post game. If we play them again and beat them, fine, do it then. But not every week please.

Ben Solak is fantastic.

More evidence, not that we needed anymore, that the Packers caught a tremendously big break missing Caleb.  Don't know if the Bears win that game, I do know it would not have been so one-sided.
