Really hoping Jonah Jackson's injury is minor-ish.  There was a noticeable difference in pass protection when he left the game.

Quick turnaround for a banged up team. Chicago is a slight favorite. Both teams are ranked very similarly offensively and defensively. I’ll take Caleb over Drake

Me to.  Did you catch Caleb' comments at the end of the game yesterday?  Thought I heard him say something about the buildup to the game being Atlanta, Atlanta, Atlanta this and Atlanta that.  Think he was pissed off and may have used it as extra motivation.  Good, because I believe this week it's going to be Drake Maye, Drake Maye, Drake Maye this and Drake Maye that.

Yeah Jonah Jackson is huge, really hope he can play. He's been at an all-pro level alongside Darnell all year and you can really see the difference when he's out.

Would love to see Monangai ready to play again. Clearly something isn't entirely right with Swift, you can see he doesn't have the same burst he had earlier in the season. And Roschon is just not good - he seemingly takes a play where he should get 3-4 and manages to get 1-2 yards. What should be a 10-12 yard gashing he turns into a modest 5-6 gain. He doesn't have great speed, his vision is poor, he just drives me nuts. Maybe I'm spoiled with Monangai and Swift, but every time Roschon is out there I'm seeing him make the least of a running play.

It's insane what Caleb does for the offense. Even when you can tell he's limited with his legs, his arm and now his vision are so good now that he just gashes the defenses. And he's mobile enough to evade the rush for the most part, even if he can't hit them for long scramble plays. He is well on his way to being elite. The Johnson-Williams mindmeld is in a great place.

This would be a beautiful game to win, even though I think we can anticipate it to be a bit of a slopfest due to the quick turnaround, injuries, and Soldier Field turf. Be really nice to enter a mini-bye 5-2 with a little cushion in what looks like a really depressingly competitive NFC North.

I cannot believe the league still has teams play 4 days after a game. Thursdays should be teams coming off byes exclusively.

Couldn’t agree more. Player health is pushed aside.

100% agreed and there's zero argument against it other than it is very slightly inconvenient for them to schedule around

The biggest obstacle is the first four weeks when nobody has a bye.
but week 1 is a no brainer. Those teams open without a game before.
week 2/3/4 can stay same (or just don’t have TNF during those weeks since the product sucks), but you can give 2 teams an early bye in week 4 and have them play week 5 Thursday. And from that point forward keep it that way. By week 6/7/8 teams are losing players left and right to injury. Coming back 4 days later sucks for them.

You could potentially do none in weeks 2/3/4 but double up week 1 and 5. That gives you a total of 16 TNF games and you could swing that every team plays once. Last year's Super Bowl participants each get in the week 1 game as a kind of "reward" so they can take full advantage of their bye.

The biggest obstacle is the networks dictate the schedule, not the league
