If the cubs acted like a playoff team the last month or so, we wouldn’t be having that conversation.

Even so, be it the Phillies or Padres, they'd still be facing legitimate play off teams at Wrigley Field.

At least one of the Chicago teams doesn't suck

Meh, they play in a weak division and a weak AL. If they played in the NL central they'd be the Pirates. They wouldn't be able to get by legit competition with 2 starters.

Be that as it may, they're having a lot more fun right now then we are.

While unlikely to be a homer in any other park, that Luis Garcia bat flip was magical

Red Sox are at 14 straight scoreless

Already sick of people talking about the White Sox like theyre an actually good team when they couldn't even win one of the worst divisions in baseball and somehow got rewarded with playing the worst team to ever qualify for the playoffs in a full season.

This makes me want the next CBA to abolish leagues and just form a whole new batch of divisions and straight seed the playoffs 1-12

Maybe forcing teams to play a double header and fly to a neutral site for a meaningless game days before the playoffs is horsefeathers stupid.
