I dont know why I do this...watching an annoying as hell Cubs game and then still stick around to watch more teams disappoint me.  Looks like the Cubs might be losing control of their destiny for HFA in the WC round.

If we're confident that the Cubs aren't going to lose their last 4 games while the Diamondbacks win their last 4 games, it almost makes sense to root for Arizona to stay in it as long as possible to try to give the Padres a couple of losses this weekend.

Saw Rizzo say the Cubs should tank and play Atlanta cause he thinks they would match up better against them, and if they win that series on the road it would give them that mental toughness and momentum going into the next series
