The indications to me (aside from clickbaity alarm) is that it's not terribly serious for Odunze. I expect he'll play week 1.

Me too, media types are so hung up on completion pct.  When Caleb gets it up to 63-65% he's going to dwarf whatever all those supposedly better QB's in his class are doing.   He's more in sync with the receivers, receivers have an improved grasp of Ben Johnson' offense, Bears offense is going to greatly improve.

Yeah, sure.  I'm no longer giving Gordon the benefit of the doubt, don't know how this is any different from his "work" in the off season.

I know some one who has the inside scoop with gordon, and this is the same thing he's being told. Gordon doesn't like the bears team doctors, thinks they misdiagnosed him, went somewhere else, got it figured out, and is on track to return after week 4.

I don’t care about completion percentage. If he’s avoiding sacks, averaging 8+ Y/A with a 4:1 TD:INT ratio while throwing a touchdown on 7%+ of dropbacks them he can complete 57% of passes for all I care. 
ANY/A and volume correlate with wins and losses.

I'm convinced people are stuck on the Bears can't have a franchise QB thing as well, regardless of how good Caleb is, they'll always be something "wrong".  Racism is also in play, look how media fawns over JJ McCarthy having a good quarter in week one last year.  Yet, with Caleb, despite leading the Bears to the division title and beating the Packers in the playoffs it's well, his completion percentage is low.

I guess that would explain why he's been so quiet and hasn't said his side of the story. Whatever the case may be, I hope to see him back on the field at some point again.

Here's a completely unscientific thing that means almost nothing: Vegas has the Bears favored in 12 of their 17 games. 

Doesn't say anything beyond that the oddsmakers like them a decent amount this year. Of course I'm sure it was the exact opposite last year so it all doesn't say much.

I don't gamble, but isn't there a thing about setting a line intentionally high/low to provoke betting by the fanbase? For example, if the Bears got set as a 6 point dog instead of 3 to get more Bears fan to take one side of the bet or the other? This might be a different version of the line being influenced by the hype?

I thought the idea was to set the line where they can get even money on either side and they only adjust after that
