Cabrera giving up some solid contact is deeply concerning

His change/sinker is moving right into the happy zone

Pretty sure I’ve seen enough of Cabrera as a starter this year. For someone who has such a phenomenal arm, he is a terrible pitcher.

I’m not so sure we’re watching the same cubs offense from a week ago. This offense is capable of going from 60 to 0 in a micro second.

This is what worries me with this team when the postseason arrives.

Yes these guys are capable of going off for 5+ a game in any series, but because of a few individuals on this lineup that has been struggling more often than not all season, its hard to feel confident in them putting up runs in the postseason, let alone against a team top 2 starters in a series.

Cabrera is bad. Assad or Peterson are far better options for this team. CC needs to have a quick hook today or else this game will be over early especially with the way the offense has shown up as of late.

It's just common sense. He has to create a strikeout pitch in some capacity.

Also, having a 97-98 MPH, with a 95 Sinker and/or changeup, and a 90 MPH Slider is a terrible mix from a velocity standpoint.

I hear he has an amazing change up. It’s even thrown with more velocity than his fastball.

Threw one to Whetherholt in that last AB and made him look terrible, to bad he's allergic to consistency.

I wanted the Cubs to trade for Cabrera and I was wrong . He horsefeathers sucks . I don’t know what the horsefeathers tried to do with him , but it didn’t work .

3-0 seems like a pretty big hole to come back from , with PCA sucking

Lol... I had asked after they got him what was the fuss about his changeup cause it looked like a FB to me and I was told the movement.

Guess it stopped moving 🤷

They scored at an over 6 run/game pace for 2 months. They also couldn’t hit air for a 16 game stretch. They’re an on and off switch that’s been on a lot more than off.

the wild card series will either be a cubs 2-0 sweep where they score 23 runs or cubs getting swept 2-0 where they are no hit into the 6th inning both games.

Damn, hitters look like theyre ready to end this game.

My hopeful 9-3 could likely end up being 6-6 if they dont get their shitt together 🙄🙄

I have a bad feeling about the White-trash Sox series.
