I wonder if Colin Rea is on the team in a week or two.

You have this steady stream of arms coming back over the next month.  When everyone is healthy Rea is probably 8th on the SP depth chart, and closer to 18th on the RP one.  With less than a quarter of a season left and rosters expanding in a few weeks there's much less of a fanatical need to hold onto depth than there is in like May.

Where do you find this? Be cool to see the opponents relievers too

Dodgers just had to blow that lead on Thursday.  We'd all be losing our minds if the Cubs were only 2 games back right now.  Hopefully, they can find a way to beat Mis today and the Cubs take care of business.

I wrote this widget earlier in the year. If you go to the forum index page, under Cubs Resources you'll see something like Bullpen Chart & Transactions. The bullpen chart is there.

Civale and Peterson will get let go first

Definitely be seeing 3 guys moved soon with Cabrera, Milner, and Palencia due back.

Possibly seeing someone going on IL, likely candidates for that and to be DFA are Rea, Thielbar, and will be interesting to see what they do with Peterson.

There are a number of ways the team can go but I feel confident saying Peterson will absolutely not be let go first

Man, dumping Rea right at the end after posting for the team for 2 years would be extra ******. But yeah, it probably makes sense.

I don’t think Rea gets let go. I guess if you get into Steele, Brown and/or Miller coming back, Rea could be in danger. But for Cabrera, Palencia and Milner I would guess Civale and Thornton get let go and Assad goes back to AAA. I also think Thielbar would be let go before Peterson on Rea (if they want Milner back). Those last 3 are very unsure to come back. And probably won’t do so until the roster expands. So if only one of 3 come back they can just be added. The issue is if more than one comes back. Then guys like Rea, Thielbar, Milner, and Peterson would all be options.
