Exactly! I like Shaw because of his versatility, but man, Pedro is a solid glove up the middle and a better hitter I feel.

Honestly, I have been back-and-forth with that very question. Shaw we have a much larger sample size than we do with Pedro.

I really like Shaw’s versatility, but his bat is hit or miss no pun intended lol. Pedro. I feel has a better chance of being a more consistent hitter, especially as a switch hitter, and he plays a decent middle infield. I even heard he played a little outfield down in Iowa? If so, given all the factors, I would say keep Pedro and trade Shaw. I don’t think you can land a quality pitcher without giving up one of those pieces.

You can keep both. That isn’t the problem. But if you want a controlled starting pitcher you may need to deal one.

Of course, there is room on the roster. The point is, with the TD approaching, it's hard to imagine them hanging onto both instead of upgrading pitching. Additionally, both are significant enough talents that you don't want them rotting on the bench. losing value.

I'm not sure what's going to happen with Happ and Suzuki in the off-season, but if Happ is leaving it would be nice to have another switch hitter in the lineup.

Yeah, 100%, and it's not only the Twins.😁  I mean sometimes, I feel sorry for the pitchers of those teams with bad defense, like the Mets.

The Mets should be a case study on how not to build a team lol.  Signing Bichette to play 3rd base, letting Alonso leave.  What a disaster.

Which is why it is important for Shaw to get back. Makes it easier to deal him or Ramirez.
