Watching this today, a lot of the 2016 squad was just a really good group of guys (Rizzo, J-Hay, Fowler, Ross, Arrieta, Lester etc). Good dudes, all of them. And then Joe Maddon shows up. Always have to smile seeing him.

I wonder how many games this year the other team hasn't hit a homer, because it feels like maybe 5

20, cubs including today has given up a homerun in 78 of 98 games this season

He went 7-43 leading up to the all star break and 6-8 yesterday and today. Hopefully he’s turned  corner.

Wish PR had more opportunities to play.

Leave him at DH for a few games,  Conforto is better when hes not playing everyday

I’d love to see both Nico and Pete hot at the same time.

When Pete gets cold, Nico starts hitting and vice versa. 😅

The fact that basically every single guy showed up (minus the current active players) shows what a special group that was.  Only Pedro Strop and Hector Rondon are missing

Thornton is in the circle of trust and Thielbar is out, right?

Yeah, I agree.

It kinda sucks to see the guys from last year's circle of trust aren't good this year like Thielbar, Pomeranz, Keller (injured now), Kit (not too bad) and Palencia (on the IL most of the season.)

It’s so cool to see many of the 2016 team members just chilling in right field with their families watching a Cubs game on a Saturday afternoon. 🍻

Wish Taylor was doing the interviews
