Of course it isn’t great, but do you not see what that kid is doing this season to teams? To have the lead and get him out of there by 6 innings is a win. Yeah, they didn’t put up 3-4 runs, but they had the opportunity and squandered it. 
Had the lead and our pen did what they typically do and gave up the lead. Rea pitched a great game.

true, but even when healthy that’s a tough matchup against Mis/Harrison/Woodruff and then this bullpen.  Even a guy like Uribe, what a beast.

At least, Murray is getting a lot of whiffs with his fastball.  But, that's doesn't mean he's better than Maton, if he gives up runs, like Maton.

They’re going to keep throwing Miz 100+ pitches a start, if it comes back and bites them they’re going to regret that.  Maybe he can do it I don’t know.  I just know I would not want to have to answer if he goes under the knife “why did you push him past 100 pitches so often?”

I’d even send LA a prospect for 100K in cash to send to Detroit for Skubal just to be on the safe side as part of a 3 team deal. I’m petty.

I kind of hope they do, I want to see MLB and the pro-salary cap crowd explain why we have to nuke the 2027 season so the poor small market teams can have a chance right after the Brewers win the pennant
