the walk isn’t a dead ball. theoretically PCA (or the batter) can go to the base they’re entitled to and then just keep running to the next base, at which point the would be advancing at their own risk. that is obviously, obviously, obviously in no way shape or form what happened here.

I just wish Craig Counsell had his time over and gave it to the umpires like we’ve never seen before. He was entitled after that brainless call from all involved. That was meek.
