Boyd in, Cabrera out.  Sucks.  I guess Rea will stay in the rotation for a while.

Rea will never not be in the rotation

So was he hurt or not? Sorry, I'm on Gameday

Very. He basically did the splits stretching for a ball at first

I guess this is what happens when your pitcher already had the training staff come out earlier and you don’t remove him despite the large lead.

I don't think these two are related. A bruise on the thigh probably doesn't really have to do with this one.

Did Soto get hurt as well? I see he got taken out

I wasn't paying too much attention, but I think Boog said back tightness.  I think he was talking about Soto.  I could be wrong, though.

Okay, fair enough. I am just pissed we are staring down the barrel of another injury.

Yeah, especially, after seeing Cabrera pitched OK, better than most of his starts.

Toronto has pretty much ruined the AL

I mean, when one of the game's most marketable young stars, who is currently one of the most valuable players in baseball this season, and plays in a major market, is nowhere near being voted an All Star starter, the system is badly flawed.

Sure, it always has been, but maybe it's time to look for a better way to do this. All Star starters shouldn't be determined by who can best mobilize their fans and/or hack the voting system.

On a related note, why are Cubs fans suddenly so uninvested in voting for their players?
