Take solace in the fact that the Brewers can't win a baseball game, either.

It is way too early to care about the results for other teams. June is when I think it becomes worth comparing, July I look for trade (buying/selling) purposes, and August start to actually track competitors if in a close race

Absolutely, I will totally ignore the standings until June.  But I always down for a Brewers losing streak.

Maybe I’m psychotic but I start comparing to other teams in April …. Basically every single day.

I don't really look at standings until June but the Pirates pitching looked really good when we saw them.  They're already a bit of a concern but if they start hitting yikes.

I agree, lots of good looking young arms on the Pirates.  You never know how injuries will affect them, but if they stay relatively healthy their pitching is scary both starters and pen.

Their hitting still look pretty mediocre/below average.  Ozuna is past his prime as a hitter and is an absolute liability in the field, Reynolds I think has seen his best days, Lowe and O'Hearn are upgrades on what they had but neither really strike fear in me.   The 19 year old will likely be a star, but probably not this year.

Yeh, Brewers were 39-35  6.5 back of Cubs on June 18th, how did that end up

🙄🙄🙄

August is when I start watching the standings

Another one bites the dust....

If he wasn't just 24 id say release him, but chances are he could still be decent in a couple years 🤷

This will be two consecutive starts with 4 days rest for Shota.  Hopefully, he'll pitch well, and stay healthy.

Nonsense - every Brewer or Cardinal loss is cause for celebration.

Death, taxes and one of Boog or JD giving a rundown of everything good the pitcher has done recently immediately after he gives up a run(s).

Every. Single. Time.

Maybe they need an opener every start 🤷

Imanaga giving up homers is a gimme now

Did you forget that he literally just pitched a 6 inning no-hitter his last start?
