Hit it on the nose from a previous post/conversation about Ricketts at the convention. Lol

He didn't get booed, talked about 2025 playoffs, the 2 new additions, 2016. and new inductees before exiting stage right..lol

Cool he inducted Vince Lloyd and Jody into the Cubs HOF, Lester too but was he there long enough and was his 3 good seasons of the 6 enough to be inducted to Cubs hall of famer,

Not saying Lester doesn't probably deserve it but maybe too soon for it to happen, Zambrono should be there first and maybe even Hendricks before Lester.

Was Wiggins the only real solid prospect introduced

He’s the only one left.

Should have put Hendricks in with Lester.

The same five year rule probably applies to the Cubs HOF as it does for the national HOF. Jon Lester retired in 2021. Hendricks retired last year.

But over the next 10 years from now I’d like to see Hendricks, Rizzo, Arrieta, Bryant, Baez (maybe some others from the 2016 squad) all in the Cubs HOF. That was a historical WS winning squad and several members of it should be inducted.

Probably still salty over KB signing with the Rockies and saying in an interview after the signing that he should have done more research before signing. Petty as horsefeathers lol.

I mean... He's barely played for them and he's sucked the entire time and they signed him to a $180M contract and he's the one saying he should have done more research into the organization. You can't make that horsefeathers up.

You don't think Mo is still a solid prospect?

Of course I do. And he certainly counts as a prospect in conversations about "preseason top prospects" and such. But in the context of introducing prospects at the convention, the guy you expect to have the 10th most PAs on your team this year, in your lineup more often than he's not, doesn't count as bringing in a prospect.

Ok. Thank you for clearing it up.

Ha! just watched Lester on the interview with Dempster from Friday - He was HAMMERED! 🙂 - I think maybe Madden was a bit tipsy too.  Those guys are having a good time.

Apparently Crane said there will likely be less than 10 spring training games broadcast on Marquee, siting budget.

My fault. I only get Marquee during regular season.
