oh well, pretty good season. the window should be open for awhile if they're smart. get a couple pieces on defense, figure out LT, and another offseason to get some more consistency for caleb.

Is really easy to look back in hindsight, but I didn't like that last pass play at all.  The Bears were in complete control at that point and just needed to control the ball and get a first down.

Was that throw really necessary for where the Bears were in down and distance and in OT? No. Yes DJ gave up but take what the defense gives you.

Also it’s not even the first or second time DJ has loafed on a route. I mean yes blame DJ but 15 yards away from FG range I’m not sure I love the decision to throw 25 yards downfield. But that’s raw emotion talking

I don't think BJ trusts Caleb enough to sit and win from the pocket with the quick passing game down after down, seems like GB and the Rams were sitting in that 2 high shell and we kept trying to spam the Big Chunk Pass play button.

Especially painful because Caleb had all day to throw

I guess all I can say is that better decisions has to be part of the growth of the team.  The electric playmaking is there.  Now it has to be honed.

Just not good for Burden to give up or not be on the same page last week and then DJ today. Terrible time for that to occur.

Man, they are really pinning it on DJ.  What do you even say to him in the locker room?

How do you like the Raiders?

unless he was hurt, which is very possible

Being hurt isn't an excuse up give up on a play.  Unless he was concussed, in which case he shouldn't have been out there anyway.

I have to imagine that’s Moores last snap as a Bear.

He was in the blue tent for a while. Maybe he had a concussion.

We've got the QB. We've got an OL for at least another year. We have weapons galore on offense. Get a pass rush, shore up the DBs and get back here with an improved Caleb

The idea that DJ was dogging it doesn’t compute for me.  That can’t be it.  Not there.  Not with an opportunity to clinch a trip to the NFCCG.  It had to be something else.

the angles going around of the DJ play, it's not great effort or anything close to it. but it's not the worst thing i've ever seen 80+ offensive snaps into a game in sub freezing temperatures after a trip to the medical tent.

If it was his first time ever doing it, maybe. But it’s not his first time. Remember the play he took off last year and just went to the sideline? He’s done it a few other times too.

If you make that catch you go to the NFC Championship game. There is absolutely no excuse.

Edit: I just watched it 5 times and I think DJ gave up because that ball was 15 feet to his left. Still, weak effort.

I don't believe DJ was dogging it.  I do believe he somehow convinced the Bears staff he was healthy enough to go, when he really wasn't good to go.
