Yeah a loss is pretty devastating for the Packers. Then they have to win at Soldier Field AND pick up a game on us, which is doable! But it’s a much, much more difficult position for them than the Bears if the Bears lose.

The only thing I can think of is that he didn’t like Ben Johnson’s comments at his hiring presser as if just because Ben is here, the winning he did in Detroit will automatically transfer over. I haven’t heard Brisker say anything controversial lately either. Or Parsons is just weird and is trying to get himself fired up.

Honestly, who gives a horsefeathers?  It's all about what happens on the field.

I'd like to see the Bears win however, I'm under no delusions they'll win or expecting them to win.  What I am certain about is the Bears have righted the ship and are trending towards a good team. The Packers dominance of the rivalry is coming to end and it's about horsefeathers time.  As many have said, the Bears are playing with house money and we've yet to see the best from Caleb.  Certainly about the best outcome many of us Bears' fans could have hoped for 2025.

if Parsons was using that kind of logic when trying to negotiate with Jerry Jones, maybe that's why things went sideways lol

Micah got paid, and he’s with a better franchise, IMO. He did just fine.

I tell you one thing the Packers have already won in a big way - grooming.  Matt LaFleur, I'm jealous, perfectly groomed, not a hair out of place, just amazing, bet he's a big time cologne guy as well.  Have to recognize perfection.  In such frigid temperatures does the hair gel freeze?

I think a loss is pretty devastating for the Bears, at least in terms of hopes to win the division. The packers odds take a bigger hit with a loss, but they are the better team. If they win, they’re in the drivers seat and Chicago has all the pressure in the world to win what will be their last game as a favorite to avoid a skid

Here's one thing I find annoying and baffling and I just want to make sure I'm not insane and the only one seeing this: Does it not seem like Jordan Love throws the most amount of just prayer balls up in the air, balls that look like pop flies, that always end up in his receivers hands? I know he's not just lucky, because he keeps doing it, and he never gets picked off, but when I do watch the Packers or see highlights, I see passes that when they leave his hand I'm like "that is gonna be picked off" and no, it's a 50 yard completion on 4th down.

This is probably a version of Cardinals Pixie Dust in my ruined, biased brain, but good lord man. Some of those 4th down completions against the Lions were just like, what? That shouldn't be complete! horsefeathers you!

You see the same thing I do.  It can’t be luck.  They probably practice it a lot.  They seem to be always one-on-one coverage and the ball is under-thrown.  It’s unlikely to be an INT if the receiver sells that the ball isn’t under-thrown and there’s a good chance of PI when the receiver suddenly comes back.

Did the same thing vs. the Bears in Chicago last year, appeared Jaylon Johnson was going to pick it off until he tripped over the receiver' feet.  As you said it's intentional, appears to be a calculated risk, looking for a DPI or the receiver makes a contested catch.  I'd be okay with the Bears forcing several of these types of throws on Sunday, at least one of them will get picked off.

This isn't even about rivalry stuff...  Dallas is no cultural mecca or anything, but being banished to spending winters in Green Bay (and playing outdoors) sounds like a cruel form of punishment.  He'd better have gotten paid.

It’s not about rivalry stuff at all. GB is objectively a better organization to play for, cold weather and all.

I think part of that is that a Bears loss exposes, or reiterates the common assumption that they are paper leader right now. If they lose to GB then the assumption is they will lose again next time they play at home, because GB is supposed to be better and they would have proved it on the field.

The football world expects Chicago to fall on its face, and maybe sneak in as a wild card before getting stomped in round one. If they beat GB, that expectation will be mostly thrown out the window

I wouldn't think that human element would go into odds/probabilities. I know they do factor in the actual odds, but I admittedly am not a gambler.

All things considered that’s not a bad report.

On the plus side, it looks as if the Bears will have actual LBs on the field, so the defense should be as healthy as it's been all year.

Not sure it's still actually good, but it's basically as good as it'll be with Edwards, Sewell, Johnson, Gordon, Wright, Byard and Brisker in the defensive backfield.

I think missing their best receiver is a bad thing

Normally, but the Bears are fortunate to have 2 other good WRs AND 2 good TE's, so I think missing Odunze won't be as noticeable as it could be

So will Luther Burden yes, Odunze being out is bad thing but, it's not like the Bears are without weapons.

Wait, the Packers players and coaches do not like Ben Johnson because of words he said at a introductory press conference, designed to fire up the Bears fanbase? Are the Packers that thin-skinned? Whatever, they just admitted that they view the Bears as a threat.

As for Parsons, are we sure he is not concussed? That was nearly incomprehensible. Hopefully on Sunday, Wisconsin will be sending out a "Missing Parsons" alert, because Micah was non-factor in the game.

I think we may near the point of Loveland being good enough to push Odunze down to #3 receiver talk honestly.

Bears will just have to rush for 200 yards again to make up for Odunze absence.

Sorry I've been in 80 degree weather for 2 days and don't recall Odunze getting hurt in the Eagles game.  What happened with him? Hopefully he comes back vs the Browns or 2nd Packers game

Turns out Loveland' pretty good, think many of us who follow Big Ten football knew he was good, slowed up early by injury and missing camp.  Think Burden can play a little as well.

Yeah, no thanks.  It's not just about the cold weather, either.

There are plenty of good organizations in the NFL that don't play in backwoods towns in the middle of nowhere.

It's legitimately in the bottom 5 of places I'd want to be if I played in the NFL.  Imagine having all that money and having to spend that much time there.

I was in genuine disbelief that they held a draft there.
