Cubs just can't get mostly bad players out, it's a simple as that, and extraordinarily frustrating.

This should have been taillon going today but they’re pushing everyone back to give them additional rest, even though they have Monday (and next Monday) off, which should tell you how much the team cares about these games. And that’s before considering the opponent playing for their playoff lives every night.

On and on with the Reds, yet another garbage hitter with a HR, I know these games mean about as much as a spring training game.  I'd still like to see the Cubs get one.

What? Ever since July they’ve been bad at just moving runners from station to station. Not to mention the countless times they have 2 on, no outs and don’t even move a runner to third base. Sure the bullpen has been decent and the defense is solid for the most part, but you need to take advantage when you have a guy at second and no outs. And too many times they don’t.

We're pretty much locked into the 4 spot but this series has been trash. Id like to see us snuff their season out, not help them build momentum.

Maybe they're waiting until the last series of the year, it be even more crushing to not make the playoffs on the last day.
