Kelly had a brief resurgence and now he is back to not being able to hit anything. He needs to not be batting in the top half of the lineup.

Tucker hasn’t been effective. Sitting him right now is not throwing in the towel. It can be argued that if he starts over Caissie today that we most certainly lose.

But why not sit him before the Pirates series to get him ready for this series?  It makes no sense, nothng has changed.

While I agree with that sentiment, Counsell’s probably thinking “it’s the Pirates”

Ok, nerds (which I mean with all love and respect!), help me understand where PCA’s pop went.

I don’t know. He’s looked just as clueless at the plate as this before. You just have to hope he gets it back.

Seriously, when was the last two out hit with RISP?

Caissie’s 2 run single with two outs in the first game.

It may not have made any difference. The reality is Caissie has carried the offense today and nothing from Tucker lately suggests that he would have.

The 2nd inning of this game?

I’m late to the party, and…kind of dumb. *face palm emoji*

Cassie doesn’t look overmatched at all and his bat speed is noticeable. 95 to 96 fastballs aren’t getting by him. That’s going to go a long way with him. Brewer pitcher is good and he is understanding what he is trying to do and not striking out. More advanced than PCA when he came up. Just my observation.

Caissie not being incredibly slow is such a surprise he seems fast.

Tall guys always look slower than they are, seems as though he can scoot a bit.

sorry, it wasn't RISP in this game (Caissie was at 1st). There was one in the earlier game though
