Agree with the first, but I think the Cubs will at least get a run tonight. Night game’s still probably going to be a blowout. Team morale is just meh right now

I'm going against the grain here.  The Cubs are going to lose the Boyd game, then somehow score runs against Woodruff and win the night game.

I was at Woodruff’s last start and they pulled him early.  I’m not sure if he’s on a strict pitch count but the Pirates did put up some runs as soon as he left the game.  Could be an opening for us.  I’d like to see Tucker sit for both of these games.

I did not know this but apparently William Contreras has been playing with a fractured middle finger on his left hand since May 7. Tucker's is on his right ring finger, so both injuries are on their drive hands. Contreras has a 122 since his injury. 

 

I have a feeling Tucker has another injury that hasn't been disclosed. Even bad mechanics brought on by pain or discomfort shouldn't completely neutralize a players power like this. 

 

Is his swing speed showing decline?
