Should kept the bunt on even with two strikes offering the slightest chance at something productive.  Instead we get the usual K.

Agreed. He has been getting the Suzuki zone a bit too. You can see he is being a bit more patient but that is clearly still very impatient.

PCA has very little chance of success against LHP now.  The bunt was a good idea I just don’t know why he pulled back on it.

The way CC stacks the lefties on top against RHers, he makes it easy for opponents to just hold their LHers and not burn them for late in games situations

The difference now is they can’t even to other teams bullpens like before. They’ll score a few runs early on most days and call it quotes after the 4th of 5th inning

this always happens when a team is scuffling offensively but boy howdy I HATE missing out on multiple runners in scoring position again and again.

Taking the bunt play off after ball 1 and then again after ball 2 is just plain dumb.
