PCA, Happ, Hoerner, Suzuki and Tucker all with big numbers vs Keller, Cubs are going to score some runs tomorrow.  Lots of them, which is good, because, as can be expected, there's a good deal of Pirates with big numbers vs. Rea.  When Shota comes back, Rea is the first who should go to pen.  Followed by Brown after Jed makes a deal for his replacement.

I just watched the 7th inning again. Pressly threw some meatballs. He was lucky they just hit singles when they did.

Looks as if the Brewers caught whatever the Cubs had today - Pallante averaging 5.9 SO9 already with 5 thru 2.  Cardinals winning is the best outcome for the Cubs today.

Yeah, I've been on his azz for a while now. In today's broadcast JD said after Swanson made a great defensive play "You can't take him out of the lineup even when he's struggling offensively because he's so good with his glove". I get that, before hitting the game winning dinger today he simply looks tired. Might just need a day off frankly

Who has the Cubs 2-1 against the Pirates after 3 games.✋🏼I did. Honestly that is all that matters. They are slumping offensively. No one will argue that. But it happens. If they can play .500 ball while slumping with the bat, that isn’t bad.
