I have to say my expectations for Boyd were incredibly low. I figured 4-5 starts IL stints and low innings totals.

In all fairness, the replay did look like he might’ve gotten the fingers of the glove under the ball before it bounced up into the pocket. My guess is it just wasn’t clear enough to determine, hence the call standing. Sucks either way.
