Yeah, but with the way he was blocking the bag. There’s no chance for him to hang onto the bag or drag his foot over it.

He also had no way to grab the bag to try to slow his momentum. Blocking the bag like that with or without the ball shouldn’t be legal.

I know nobody slides feet first anymore, but if the runner slides hard with his spikes into the blocking leg, I bet the 3B doesn't do that next time.
