Letting Steele go for another inning is surprising

He's gotta pitch to sort out his troubles.

That Shota-PCA-Happ conversation they just showed looked mighty meme-worthy.

Haha, unfortunately we still have to count those. Not that anyone wants to, absolute crap that was.

Pressly throws a 3200+ rpm curveball, which led the mlb last year.  His 4-seam is also has the 6th highest rpm in the MLB.

Hodge is so legit

I have more faith in Hodge than Pressly and I won't be surprised if they swap roles before the end of the season.

And when that 4-seamer is 96-98, the combo is devastating.

I'm not proud of how relieved I am that Cam Smith is getting the bat knocked out of his hands and we can avoid that discourse, at least for a while.

Yep! Hopefully we'll get some reprieve until July when the Cubs will trade a few other prospects at the deadline and we'll get to read about how Drew Gray (whom I still like as a prospect) is going to be the next Clayton Kershaw because he has two good starts with the Angels in Triple-A.

I’m uncomfortable with how small Shaw looks at the plate

I think his swing looks ridiculous and battling a negative voice in my head about its effect on his MLB success

imagine tucker sustaining this pace for 4 seasons, then realize that bonds actually did that

tucker ops so far: 1.303

bonds from 2001-2004: 1.368

It's early.

Anyone else worried about Steele, yes it's early, but...

Not really. It's about mechanics with Steele.
