The counter to that is the last six years their QB's have been

Russell Wilson and Justin Fields
Kenny Pickett
Kenny Pickett
Big Ben at 39
Big Ben at 38
Mason Rudolph (Big Ben got hurt)

And because they don't tank, it makes it harder to get a top QB.

Yeah, I think it's a reflection of Tomlin getting all he can from the team in the regular season. They don't have another gear.

TJ Watt didn't record a single tackle in either yesterday's game or the season finale against the Bengals. In the previous week (a loss to KC), he had 3 tackles, no sacks

I'll give the Packers defense credit, they've kept them in the game.

Shocking, calling the arm around the neck a hold on the Packers, positively shocking.  And yes, I'm bitter, because that's how the Packers "defended" Khalil Mack about half the time.  That horsefeathers Bulaga, the chokehold was his go to move vs. Mack.

Man, I enjoy watching franchise QB Love continuing to horsefeathers up, I know it's weak.  Schadenfreude is all us Bears fans have right now.

Hey Packers fans look at this way at least LaFleur wins the HC grooming contest over Sirianni.  The haircut and beard just perfect.

No doubt about it... the Bears really softened up the Packers. Made it easy for the Eagles.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

also true: the packers suck in general

Ok after that doink went in after the number 2 pick led his team to a playoff win I’m convinced this entire operation is designed specifically to horsefeathers on the Bears.

GB unequivocally does not have a third consecutive franchise QB

Eh, I don't know if you can say that for sure, Love was still very good this year. I don't know how we're defining 'franchise QB' these days, but he's definitely a good player. Someone worth committing tens of millions to.

But he hasn't shown that he has Favre-Rodgers talent yet, no, that's true. Us Bears fans may have finally found the Packers don't have a HALL OF FAME level QB yet. But it remains to be seen. (Because the Football Gods hate us)

Annoying to see Jayden Daniels go out and win a playoff game. I haven't been super upset at the Caleb-Daniels-Nix-Whatever comparisons, but it does irk me to see the Commanders go out and win so effortlessly while we've struggled so mightily.

It's annoying as hell to see Daniels do well and the Commanders win.  Regardless of what happens next week we're in for a whole off season of Daniels >> Caleb.  Which really sucks because it could be turned around with a decent off season by Bears.  There's the catch though, I little faith in Poles being able to manage anything remotely close to an effective off season.  It's going to start with Poles hiring the wrong HC and it'll go down hill from that point.  For the record I believe Daniels is going to regress in 2025.
