Ooh, it’s fair for us all to look at a draft of “guys” after finally feeling like they have the mythical “franchise quarterback”  and feel - cromulent. It almost felt like a let down from having to HAVE to find a QB.

Otoh it’s fair to wonder if we got enough

i feel like it was a decent draft and made sense at points, but also was a bit puzzling. We’ll see

More and more rumblings about the Bears shifting Darnell Wright to LT and letting Ozzy Trapilo see if he can win the job at RT. With Braxton Jones out for the offseason, the Bears might get plenty of time seeing these two at these positions.

Schedule is being released Wednesday.  Leaks should be coming out as soon as today. If anyone cares about that sort of thing

It's too bad I'm already bearish (har har) on the 3rd round OL from Yale they took last year.  Would be good to have another prospect at one of the more important positions.

I like the Ozzy pick but Poles has given me good reason to question his O-line evaluations.

So he fell in love with a lineman from his alma matter

TIL the NFL plays games on Black Friday

Nebraska/Iowa used to be the only game on tv until Iowa decided to not run an offense for several years

He was always going to be a project given his alma mater. He could still be something. On top of being from an Ivy League school, he also started off camp in his rookie year injured.

If I’m reading is right, the Vikings will only have 7 true road games this year while the rest of the North will have 9.  That seems like a big advantage for them, especially with the Bears road schedule being harder than I can ever remember seeing

Yeah. On one hand they don’t have as many road games, but on the other they spend two weeks in London. Pittsburgh is mediocre and Cleveland stinks, does it really matter if you play them in London or their home stadiums?

Actually one week in Dublin, one week in London.  And valid points.

Didn’t realize that. I wonder if they’ll find one place to make home for the two weeks and travel for second game as if it was a road trip, or do two different “camps””

I would think after the second game in Europe the Vikings will get their bye. Its also a big advantage for them in the 2nd game because they will have all that extra time to adjust to the time change compared to their opponent Cleveland.

As for the Bears I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL gives them a noon home game again against a ****** team like Cleveland or NYG in week 1?

A bigger advantage is their opponent will be Cleveland

The Chargers opponent in Brazil is KC

Lots of schedule leaks coming out this morning. None though for the Bears.

Bears will not open up vs GB or Detroit as they play each other week 1

Bears to open at home vs Minnesota on MNF

Believe it or not, the Bears first home primetime game that isn't Thursday Night Football since December 2021, also against the Vikings.

In fact this will be the 3rd straight home non-TNF primetime game against Minnesota.  Last against everyone else was 2019 against the Chiefs.
