Who is your sleeper of the year (Someone that is on one of your rosters in a league already drafted) Let me rephrase this 2 players.

Comeback Player

Young Stud to bust out

I have 2

J. Reyes - Tons I mean tons of steals and 280-290 avg.

Jobo - If cubs closer, 30-40 saves anyone?

My sleeper pick is Borowski. I picked him in a later round hoping for a comeback season from him.

I also have Patterson, Rusch, Hawkins, and Hairston on my team and Pinto on my minor league roster (keeper league). No homerism here. :D

Admittedly he has only one appearance so far, but if it is any indication Borowski may have been a good pick for me.

A couple of rookie stud possibilities: Dallas McPherson and, if he can beat out Biggio, Chris Burke.

Comeback- Richie Sexson (way down on fantasy draft boards)

Breakout- Jeremy Bonderman

IMB, Beckett for NL Cy Young! You with me?

Sure. I got on the Johan Bandwagon before spring training last year (almost got off before he went on his run too), maybe I'll be right again.

Comeback: AARON BOONE, Richie Sexson, Ken Griffey Jr (for real this time, hehe), Jason Giambi, Randy Wolf

Breakout: Jeremy Bonderman, KEVIN MENCH, Brad Wilkerson, A.J. Burnett, Rich Harden, Chad Cordero

Sleepers: Jason Lane, Michael Cuddyer, Chase Utley, Jon Garland, Huston Street, HORACIO RAMIREZ, and one other guy but i cant say cuz im in a league with some NSBB people and he's my next pick :)

Young studs with cool names:

Wily Mo Pena 26 HR's in only 336 AB's last year. Griffey and Kearns can't stay healthy.

Coco Crisp .297 15 HR's 20 SB's last year.

Comeback: Sosa, I took him in the tenth round of my draft.

Sexson was another comeback pick for me.

I got sosa in the 13th! In NSBB west to boot!

Many people forget about Berkman because he is out for the 1st couple of months. Draft him in late rounds (i think mine was the 18th) and put him on the DL. Think of it as a huge midseason pickup.

Livan Hernandez is always a lte pickup but he eats innings and has a solid WHIP. Also pick up a couple of guys that can play multiple positions so they can fill in on off days. A good guy for that is Huff (OF, 1B & 3B) and Matt LeCroy (C, 1B, OF).

I think some young guys to look for are Francis (Col), Houston Street (when he turns up on Yahoo) & X Nady.

Some turnaround guys - Jason Jennings & Shawn Chacon, Klesko & Erstad

Yeah, as soon as the Dotel trade happens, Street will be the guy to pickup. Cheap saves in fantasy baseball are awesome.

I think this is the year Kearns stays healthy. I also noticed Andruw Jones hangs around till the later rounds, and a few projections have him putting up some pretty impressive numbers.

Comeback Player: Nomar, He's healthy and finally in the right place at the right time!

Sleeper: Scott Kazmir Tampa's #3 starter. One hell of a pick up! He already has a chance at AL ROY due to playing the media whores Red Sox and Yanks.

Real sleeper pick...

Ruben Gotay, 2B KC

23 year old switch hitting second baseman (tough position to fill). Check his spring numbers:

BATTERS BA SLG OBA G AB R H TB 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS E
Gotay .368 .721 .413 21 68 11 25 49 6 0 6 19 6 10 0 1 2

Although he wasn't really highly touted coming up, he hit well in the minors considering age/league adjustments. I don't think he's going to produce anything like his spring numbers over the course of a season, but he's probably going to be a league average or better second baseman who is in line for 600+ PA's that you can pick up for a buck or two / pick up in the very late rounds.
