Shota had a tough time missing bats.  Too many foul balls.

Hopefully he can be more economical with the bottom of the order. So far reminiscent of his Atlanta start where he allowed 10 baserunners in 5 scoreless innings, and pitched very carefully around a potent offense. Lost that one 2-0.

Not related to tonight, but the Cards getting rained out last night and having their DH today looks like it's going to have us miss Sonny Gray this weekend.

Shota is a damn fine pitcher. Even when he hasn’t had a good start, the thought isn’t if the league have figured him out. He will come out 5 days later and be quality.
