When they win it's an accident.

When they lose it's by design.

I don’t know if this was dark humor but it made laugh.

What was Steele blowup about, what happened on the field..

People are only posting him yelling but not saying why

Brewers got into a pickle. Nico threw to Morel too late and runner was safe, both runners advanced.

And I believe both ultimately scored, tying the game.  I get his frustration...while the Cubs have played sloppy in every pitcher's starts, it seems like they are especially blunderful when Steele starts.

Really crazy to be 12 starts into his season, have a 3.20 ERA while averaging 6.1 IP per start and be stuck on 0 wins.

That was after Morel whiffed on the hit ball that got that runner on-base in the first place.  And before the immaculate pop-fly fell in between 3 of the best fielders in the MLB and before Steele misplayed an easy soft tapper.

That might have been the worst inning of Cubs baseball i've seen since the Bartman inning.

Dansby never hustles on the base paths. He also is probably slow.

He's not slow.  I think he doesn't hustle unless absolutely needed in order to conserve energy for the 162.  He also runs like a girl when he does run hard, which I find strange and humorous.  I've never in my life seen a pro ballplayer run like he does.

I would not be sad with Morel taking a few days off. If he were to try swinging not with all his might he might make actual horsefeathering contact.

Do you not know who Christopher Morel is?

Holy crap, i didn't see this during the game.  Who was he yelling at?

I get the frustration.  Brutal 3rd inning.  And imagine being one of the best pitchers in baseball and being 0-3 halfway through the season because the rest of your team is f**king everything up almost every time you pitch.

I also saw Taillon shaking his head on the mound yesterday right after PCA ran into Happ while Happ was trying to play the ball bouncing off the wall.  These guys are starting to lose it.

Neris seems like a guy who would rather be spread out on the couch eating donuts.

These are gross and lazy.  Do better.

I don't blame Steele for being frustrated, Morel played a GB into a single, and, despite Hoerner throwing late, Morel made sure to get out the runner' path allowing him to run by.

Relatedly, feels like Hodge is Counsell's #1 guy right now.  Got The save on Thursday and then the 8th against the middle of the order yesterday.

When should Morel and thirdbase stop being mentioned in the same sentence?

Steele should have been pissed at himself if it was about the rundown.  He got it off to a bad start by not making the runner commit to a base sooner and it got the whole sequence out of whack.
